A new chapter for Bengaluru: The Den joins LXR

Hilton’s luxury collection arrives in India with a Whitefield hotel that pairs neighbourhood discovery with time to unwind.
A city stay with room to pause
The Den Bengaluru has joined LXR Hotels & Resorts, marking the Hilton brand’s debut in India. Announced on 13 October, the move introduces a new chapter for the Whitefield property, with 226 rooms, studios and suites.
The most interesting part for travellers is the emphasis on the neighbourhood. Hilton describes two programmes: The Pause Program, built around restorative touches during a stay, and Whitefield Unscripted, designed to connect guests with local places and stories.
Discover beyond the lobby
Among the announced experiences are a trail exploring Whitefield’s heritage bungalows and local institutions, and a farm visit involving produce harvesting followed by a meal prepared by the hotel’s team. These are operator-described experiences, rather than activities independently tested by BEST TRAVELS.
Back at the hotel, the offering includes a spa, an outdoor pool and rooftop dining at Layla, with Indian and Mediterranean influences. The combination gives a Bengaluru visit scope for both exploration and downtime.
Make the stay fit your trip
For a short visit, start by mapping the places you most want to see against the hotel’s location. A neighbourhood-led itinerary can be more rewarding than trying to cross an entire city between every meal and activity.
Before booking, ask which experiences run on your dates, whether advance reservations are needed and what costs extra. Compare the complete stay, including room conditions, transfers and your chosen activities. An appealing programme becomes a better holiday when its practical details fit the time you actually have.
