A new address has joined Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coast. Red Sea Global announced the opening of Raffles The Red Sea on 14 October 2026, placing the brand on Shura Island. For travellers drawn to hotels shaped by their surroundings, the attraction is a stay organised around sea views, outdoor space and time to unwind.

Rooms that open to the island

The resort comprises 121 rooms, 14 suites and 33 villas. Raffles says each has a private terrace, with many facing the lagoon or beachfront. That distinction matters when choosing a room: confirm the precise outlook and outdoor space rather than assuming every category offers the same view.

A different flavour each evening

Five dining venues are listed, including Eastern Mediterranean cooking at Ni’ma and Singaporean influences at Siparaja. The range gives an island stay more variety without making every evening an excursion. Restaurant opening days and reservation requirements should be confirmed for the intended dates.

What to check before travelling

The resort’s wellness page currently marks the Kids Club and Teens Hub as coming soon. It describes spa facilities and publishes hours, but travellers should confirm which services are operating during their stay. Arrange airport transfers and any activities in advance, and ask which carry separate charges. The opening is confirmed; a full programme of facilities should not be assumed.
