Emirates adds 14 Durban flights for the festive season

Travellers planning a year-end trip to Durban will have more flight options from Dubai. Emirates announced on 20 October that it will add 14 services across two holiday periods, supplementing its existing daily connection.

The additional flight is scheduled daily from 17 to 23 December 2026 and from 2 to 8 January 2027. Emirates says it will use a three-class Boeing 777. These are temporary additions for specific dates, rather than a permanent second daily service.

For a family visit or a South African summer break, the practical benefit is another departure to compare when building an itinerary. Check the selected flight, connection and fare conditions before booking: more capacity does not guarantee a lower price.
